Transportation Update

Beginning June 23, 2024, Metro will be making changes to bus service that will improve student and faculty’s bus access to the Notre Dame campus as follows:

Metro Line 158 (Woodman Av) Additional trips scheduled daytime weekdays serving the section of Line 158 on Woodman Av, creating a 30-minute (improved from 60-minute) service on the Woodman Av segment between Ventura Bl and Van Nuys Bl. This was made to promote increased ridership.

Questions

List of 4 items.

  • Does ND offer a sibling discount?

No.  The same service fee applies to all seats on the bus.
  • My student missed their morning pick-up.

If your student missed their morning pick-up and if your bus has another stop after your regular pick-up point and it is your same bus, yes you may pick it up at another point.

However, if they are already headed to the school, they are legally prohibited from stopping and picking up your student.
  • What are the pick-up times?

Morning pickup times are approximately 6:00 AM to 7:15 AM. There are two return buses for each of the above routes. The first bus departs NDHS at 3:15 PM and the second bus at 6:15 PM.

Riders should be at the bus stop at least 5 to 10 minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive.
  • I have more questions. Who do I contact?

Please contact the Admissions Office at admissions@ndhs.org.
