The HSPT Workshops are taught by our wonderful Notre Dame High School teachers.
The workshops will cover Verbal, Quantitative, Reading, Mathematics, and Language skills that the students should know by the middle of their 8th grade.
Through participating in our workshops, your student will also be signed up for the accompanying HSPT Practice Test held on our campus.
The HSPT Practice Test will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end around 11:30 a.m.
8th-grade students can take the HSPT Practice Test to familiarize themselves with HSPT content and material and assess their strengths and areas to improve.
It will begin at 8:00 AM and will last approximately three hours.
This test will assess students' abilities in Verbal Skills, Quantitative Skills, Reading, Math, and Language.
This fee is $125.00 and it is non-refundable. Please note that the workshop includes a practice test. If you are interested in registering for the workshop you do not need to register for the practice test separately unless you would like your student to take two practice tests to see their improvements.
Yes, your student is able to take the HSPT at another school. Your student will have to tell the school to send us their results. Something to keep in mind, if your student tests elsewhere, they are no longer eligible for our only merit based scholarship we offer. Secondly, students that test at our campus will have their applications reviewed first.
No, we do not have HSPT tutors but we do offer an HSPT Workshop in the Summer and Fall as well as a Winter HSPT Practice Test. Our HSPT Workshop does fill up quickly, it is highly recommended that you sign up as soon as possible once those dates are published.
Our Summer HSPT Workshop is 5 days long with the practice test on Saturday. The Fall HSPT Workshop consists of 4 Mondays in October and November with the practice test during the winter. We will send an email out to the families registered with more information closer to the workshop dates.
