Endowment

Gifts to endowment ensure the long-term financial health and stability of our school and allows Notre Dame to remain competitive by providing the finest educational experience for all students.

Named endowment funds may be created with gifts of $100,000 or more. Additional gifts can be made to new or existing named endowments at any time in any size.

  • What gift amount must be donated to establish an endowment fund?

    Named endowment funds may be created with gifts of $100,000 or more. Additional gifts can be made to new or existing named endowments at any time, in any size.
  • How are endowed funds named?

    Endowment funds are typically named by the person(s) who are establishing the fund. You can name an endowment after yourself, your family, your friend, your favorite faculty member, etc.– the possibilities are endless. Your endowment will be recorded as “The [Name of Your Choice] Endowment Fund.
  • How do I begin the process?

    For more information on how you can establish a legacy at Notre Dame High School to benefit deserving students, please contact the Advancement Office at advancement@ndhs.org
  • Can I add to my/a endowment fund's principal?

    Yes, you can add to the principal at any time. The principal dictates the number of funds that may be awarded to students. The larger the amount of principal, the more Notre Dame students will benefit from your endowed scholarship fund. Anyone can contribute to the principal of an established scholarship fund.
