A Los Angeles native with West-Indian roots, Ms. Jessica Lewis joined the Notre Dame Counseling Department in 2017 serving as the department assistant. She currently serves as the Director of College Counseling. A product of Catholic education, she earned her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Organizational Psychology from Saint Mary's College of CA and attended Loyola Marymount University for her graduate work in School Counseling. She previously served as a College Counselor for a local all-girls Catholic high school in addition working as a registrar for a local Jewish day school. Ms. Lewis’ passions at Notre Dame include anti-racist school counseling, mental wellness, suicide awareness and prevention, normalizing grief and loss, DEI work and LGBTQ+ allyship.
 
Prior to school counseling, Ms. Lewis spent close to 15 years in supplemental education as a Senior Director with SCORE! Educational Centers, a tech organization that supported the Common App, followed by advisory roles for several national test prep organizations. She comes with a wealth of knowledge not just in college and academic advising, but SAT/ACT testing as well. When not in the office, Ms. Lewis enjoys participating in heated spin cycling classes, taking dance lessons, and visiting family in the Caribbean.

Ms. Lewis is a member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), California Association of School Counselors (CASC), National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), and Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC).
